The site is back online, The old site's name sever disappeared and our site with it. The info from the old site can be recovered as with all the photo's. This new site is on a new and very fast NZ based sever, thanks Steven for allowing the use of this sever.
Over the next few days we'll reinstall a few things like the forums etc.

We’ve scaled back the calendar

All of the support team has been very busy lately in our private lives, so we haven’t had the time needed to run the club. So we’ve scaled back the calendar keeping just the combat.
I’d dearly love to have the time necessary to put into driving this club, but I simply don’t. But it seams that we must all be in a similar boat, the last couple of slope comps (excluding the combat) have been rather poorly patronized.
I know this will come as a disappointment to some of you, and I’m sorry we’ve been put in this position.
But never fear If you keen to Race or Thermal or what ever, feel free to organize something and we’ll advertise it, plus you’ll have our full support.
The Forums were moved back to our site because of the lack of freedom we were given, The owner was editing our posts if they mentioned companies or a website that might be a company site, plus the advertising was a little off putting to some members.
So we’ve been relegated to just a group of mates that meet and fly glider, and I personally feel that’s a good thing. Use the “Up flying” forum and let us know where you’ll be. If there’s any impromptu event on we’ll text it out.
I’m sorry for letting those of you who always attend events down, however this won’t be a permanent situation.

Day of true fun

We were recently invited out to CFRC’s lake Forsyth site to give Aero tow a try,
The wind was very blustery so we put the thermals gliders away and cracked out the Foamies. This day was some of the most fun I’ve had with a Foamy,
Alex donated sausages to the cause and well as a large amount of fuel, Velcro, Bungee line, and lots of time. I’d like to Say thanks Alex we had a real blast.
